Local currency Kigali is RWF at the foreign exchange rate of 1 USD = 1185 RWF There are many local Forex bureaus in Kigali, some of them open 24 hours. Banks and Forex bureaus accept traveler’s cheques and major credits cards are accepted at leading hotels and restaurants. You need to verify thiis on internet. VISAVisa may be required for International visitors to Kigali. Please check with the respective local Embassy for details and other requirements. Letters of invitation will be issued to participants upon request for the processing of travel documents. ACCOMMODATIONHotel charges for accommodation in Kigali ranges from US$20 to US$ 600 per night. The OC is available for assistance. Food ranges from US$ 5.00 to US$ 30.00 a meal. FINANCIAL SUPPORTFinancial assistance to cater for (full/partial) travels and/or local expenses will depend on the availability of sponsors. However, every effort should be made by participants to secure full support for their travel and subsistence expenses. |
